If you travel to Northampton, whether you’re only going to be there a little while or whether you’re planning on an extended stay, there are various things that you can do there. That’s part of the beauty of the area, is that there are so many options. One of the best things about Northampton is the college. It’s very appealing to the younger crowd, and many of them attend it to get a great education but also to socialize because they like the idea of being able to be around their peers. The atmosphere of the college is also a good one, since it’s designed to encourage and reward students more than some colleges are. Not every place has the comfort and happiness of the largest majority of students in mind, but this isn’t an issue in Northampton. The college isn’t all that the area has to offer, however. If you’re not interested in the college or if you’re not going to be staying in Northampton long enough to attend it, there are still all kinds of things that you can do and see. There are many wonderful places to stay, and if you’re looking for good food, Northampton is one of the best areas to find many staples, as well as unique and interesting dishes to try.

As far as seeing the sights, Northampton has a lot to offer there, as well. Rugby is very popular, so the odds are that you’ll have the opportunity to take in a match during your time there. There are also museums and art collections that are world-class. They are open to the public, and there are all types of art represented in some of them. With that in mind, take the time to go around to some of them and see what they have to offer. You’ll be glad that you spent the time looking at the history of the area and what people are doing there now in order to express themselves. The buildings and architecture of the area are other things that make Northampton worth taking a look at.
